Within the mountain, heaven:
the image of the taming force of the great.
So the noble one comes to know many sayings of ancient times
and deeds of the past,
so as to make their character firm.
First line, nine
There is danger. It is favorable to desist.
Second line, nine
The axle bearings are taken off the wagon.
Third line, nine
A good horse that follows others.
It is favorable to be aware of danger and to persist.
Practice chariot driving and armed defense every day.
It is favorable to have somewhere to go.
Fourth line, six
The protective board of a young bull.
Great good fortune.
Fifth line, six
The tusk of a castrated boar. Good fortune.
Top line, nine
One attains the way of heaven. Success.
