The Judgment
Work on what is spoiled has great success. It is favorable to cross the great water. Three days before the starting point, and three days after it.
The Image
Wind blows at the mountain's foot: the image of decay. So the noble one rouses the people and strengthens their spirit.
First line, six
Setting right what the father spoiled. If there is a son, no fault remains on the departed father. Danger. Good fortune in the end.
Second line, nine
Setting right what the mother spoiled. One must not be too persistent.
Third line, nine
Setting right what the father spoiled. There will be a little regret. No great fault.
Fourth line, six
Tolerating what the father spoiled. If one presses on, one meets with shame.
Fifth line, six
Setting right what the father spoiled. One finds praise.
Top line, nine
Does not serve kings and princes. Sets higher goals.
